The church has recently crossed over the call to make disciples all over the world through a simple yet elegant online presence. The understated elegance eases the senses of any site visitor, thus making sure that information about the church, its mission and vision are properly understood.

Because the site is fairly new, we expected less site traffic over the few weeks after its official launch in the World Wide Web. However, we were proven wrong with the overwhelming response that were justified through Google Analytics and the responses over the mini-blog site we facilitated within the site. We are happy that technology has defined a new dawn in evangelical ministries – Webvangelism, that is.

This is just one side of the story. There are other equally remarkable advantages for having the church’s online presence. Before the site was even launched, our internal IT team was taught by an elder on
how to build a free website. It was just an internal workshop that led to web solutions for our congregation.

It is surprising to know that years of study of web design in vocational computer institutions has been reduced to hours of following a clear cut set of instructions over the internet. Whatever method is used to for website creation provides the same results – high quality websites. One example is the do-it-yourself version of how to create flash websites. Another is the easy platform on where to make a free website for kids.

One would usually pay a trainer to help you learn how to accomplish this, otherwise, you pay for hefty professional web design fees. But with free online website builders, these all are ‘on the house’.
