entertament is usally activities like cruise compations, movies, shows, the pool, sports gym, library, and stuff like that.
the spa cost money but is cheaper then it is on land
sports classes are really cheap, a yoga class is about $5-$10.
those are about the only things that cost money.

It may vary from cruiseline to cruiseline, but most of the major ones have Broadway type shows, variety acts (magicians, comedians, musicians, etc.), karoake, lounge acts, game shows with passengers as contestants. These are usually free of charge.

Just about every cruiseline has TVs in the cabins. But don't expect to get network TV. You'll get programs that are featured on the satellite service that cruiseline has bought. You may be able to see fairly recent movies on your set as well as on a large screen in a lounge or theater. Most cruiselines don't charge for special programs or movies. Some Princess ships have a feature called "Movies Under the Stars" where you can watch movies and other shows outside by the pool. That's free.

Many cruiselines have enrichment programs or speakers. Some classes do have a charge, some don't.

Some exercise classes have a charge (usually Piliates, spinning). Expect a charge for any spa services -- I haven't heard of any ship that has free massages.

Entertainment are the shows, movies and some classes, spa facilities you need to pay for and vary depending on the service. The cruise lines web site can normally give you an appx of spa costs, I know Holland America's web site does. You should get a daily agenda sheet every morning listing the daily activities. Check out the ships web site and you can get more info from them. Good Luck KG

Entertainment meaning shows, games, and such. Spa treatments are not included. They run the gamet in prices, but I'd estimate $30 on up, depending on the services you get. Classes like fitness classes may or may not be included. If they are not included, they are usually $5-$15 a class.

Well, it all depends on the type of ship you're going on. For example, if you went on the Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas, you could go to the spa, arcade, watch a movie, rock climb, putt-putt, ice skate, and more. The spa on that particular ship isn't included, but the movie, gym, rock climbing wall, putt-putt, and ice skating is included. All ships are different; I was just giving an example from the Mariner of the Seas.

it depends on what type of cruise you're going on...because I went on one with an eighth grade class and all we had was music and dancing but on bigger and more expensive cruise ships you'll probably have more options like you said
